This set of illustrations began as a single color palette, after I decided my favorite color was purple. My old art was very desaturated, prioritizing realism over expression. However, having picked purple - a playful, yet elegant color - as my favorite, I had the urge to push values and saturation in my artwork. Dreamscape eventually became how I observe the world around me. Some colors, some details, are not obvious; through art, they can be exaggerated and emphasized until they can no longer be ignored.
